KLT Enterprises is a locally owned company developing AFFORDABLE single family homes in Watford City from start to finish. KLT is owned by three Watford City residents, Bobby Kaloustian, Joel Lockhart, and Luke Taylor. This KLT team is currently building homes in two locations in Watford City at the Stepping Stone Golf Course Housing Development and the Veeder Estates Subdivision.
Bobby, Joel, and Luke have come together to meet a need in Watford which is offering affordable, efficiently built homes in the booming Bakken. They are doing this by using three approved floor plans that meet the incentives of the pilot program developed by the McKenzie County Job Development Authority to assist in the shortage of affordable housing in Watford City.

Stepping Stone Golf Course Community Development is a fully-entitled, 144-acre master planned development. It is a family-oriented, residential community that boasts golf course frontage lots, stunning views, and it’s location makes it accessible by community trails to the Rough Rider Center, Fox Hills Golf Course, Stone Home Brewery, Watford City High School and the new Watford City Elementary school being built.
Veeder Estates Subdivision Development is a family-friendly development located just to the north of the Catholic Church and across the street from the Sunshine Park. KLT HOMES ARE JDA PROGRAM APPROVED!
The McKenzie County Job Development Authority has rolled out a pilot program to assist with the inventory shortage of affordable housing in McKenzie County.
The pilot program incentivizes the construction and sale of quality, affordable housing in McKenzie County by providing a development subsidy up to $50,000 per single-family house to offset infrastructure costs for qualifying housing projects.

Complete—curb, gutter, sidewalk, municipal water, municipal sewer—up to $50,000 per house

Limited—municipal water and municipal sewer in a city; or in a county subdivision that has improved gravel road and septic—up to $25,000 per house
The Lakeford and Newbridge plans qualify for the McKenzie County housing subsidy! This will allow home buyers to use the grant to go towards the purchase of a newly constructed home. The grant is up to $50,000 depending on the purchase price of the house. The grant is to try and get the home buyer into a FHA loan.
Here are the following listing prices for the models:
Newbridge - $381,760
Lakeford - $381,760
The Newbridge and Lakeford will both receive the max grant amount of $50,000 when built on a completed lot. The net purchase price for each model will be $331,760.
